How do I set up tax groups and tax codes?

 

Navigate to Data⇒Finance⇒Tax Code

 

Click on the New button to start a new tax group and then click New to create the relevant Tax Code for this Tax Group

 

Enter the Tax Code detail, ensuring that they match the details in your accounting software, then press Update - the new Tax Code will appear in the list

 

Now fill out the Tax Group information, you will see that the tax code you just created is listed as the Current VAT code for this tax group. Click Update followed by Clear

Click the Save Button - the newly created group will appear in the Tax Group List
